Local Event Coordination

KC2026 will support FIFA-sanctioned events including six matches and an official FIFA Fan Festival™. In addition, unofficial public and private events and promotions will be held to capitalize on the tourism opportunities associated with the World Cup. These unofficial events are independently managed and not affiliated with KC2026 or MARC.

Cities, counties and other civic organizations — both within and outside the nine-county MARC region — that are involved in local planning for unofficial World Cup activities are invited to the MARC Member Center to join the conversation and share ideas.
