These complex coordinated attacks involve multiple threats that often exceed conventional response tactics. The attacks require a joint response involving members from varying disciplines and jurisdictions.Practical exercises allow participants to interact with responders from other disciplines to effectively address a variety of complex coordinated attack scenarios. Target Audience

This course is designed for emergency responders including those who are most likely to assume command at some point during a response to a complex coordinated attack. Law Enforcement, Fire service including engineers, firefighters, battalion chiefs, captains, dispatch supervisors, EMS to include dispatch supervisors. Personnel from emergency management, medical care facilities, public health, other governmental departments or agencies. Private sector who may be involved in the response to CCA or who might assist public safety responders.

Please be advised registration is reserved for emergency services personnel in the nine-county Kansas City metropolitan area: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. Travel costs are not provided.
