Information Technology Shared Services

As a part of the Mid-America Regional Council’s effort to develop cooperative approaches and shared solutions, MARC entered into a shared services agreement with Civic ITC, a Kansas City-based information and technology company that specializes in providing comprehensive outsourced IT solutions for local government clients. Available services include networking, email, help desk, data storage, software and hardware support, and much more.  

Similar to other cooperative purchasing agreements, regional cities and counties can enter into individual service agreements that meet their unique IT needs based on the pre-negotiated master services between MARC and Civic ITC. MARC will receive a small percentage of the fees collected by Civic ITC to cover administrative costs associated with procurement, customer service, contract management and marketing.
