Building Energy Exchange KC

Building Energy Exchange KC, (BE-Ex KC) is an initiative of Climate Action KC in partnership with MARC. In coordination with the regional Climate Action Plan, BE-Ex KC supports local communities in transforming their buildings to become high-performing, low-carbon and energy-efficient. BE-Ex KC programs prioritize measures that reduce utility costs and significantly improve community health.

Renew America's Nonprofits

MARC is a recipient of the Renew America’s Nonprofits grant to implement energy efficiency building upgrades for nonprofit organizations in the Kansas City region. The grant provides $4.7 million over three years to support projects that reduce energy use and costs in buildings owned and operated by nonprofits.
