Accessory Dwelling Units

Accessory dwelling units (ADUs) provide flexibility in housing choices and accommodate lifestyle changes. They allow homeowners to share independent living areas with family members and others, allowing older adults to age in place as they require more care and helping extended families be near one another while maintaining privacy.

These ordinances were submitted in November of 2022 and expanded in January of 2025. To submit a new or updated ordinance, please contact MARC.
