Connecting the P.I.E.C.E.S. is a steering committee of early learning educators, providers, business and civic leaders, and other advocates.

Our region will gain at least 100 new early childhood educators that earn at least a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and remain employed through the 2025-2026 school year, as measured by responses from providers participating in new programs launched as a result of Connecting the P.I.E.C.E.S. Childhood Community Leaders

Missouri Childhood Community Leaders support families with children birth to age five. This coordinated support system is designed to ensure families have the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about the safety, health and education of their children.

Please visit the Missouri Childhood Community Leaders website if you are in need of assistance with childcare, health, housing or other needs.

Partners in Quality

A logo of two hands shaking

Partners in Quality for Early Childhood Education is the key community collaboration body for early learning in the Greater Kansas City region. Established in 1996, PIQ members represent key civic institutions, philanthropic foundations, school districts, post-secondary educational institutions, early learning centers, public and private agencies, and other stakeholders. PIQ aims to build a nationally unsurpassed early learning system in our community. Through its strategic plan, PIQ works to develop and implement a coherent, viable and high-quality system of early learning programs that benefit all children in the community.

MARC supports public policies and investments that will increase access to affordable high quality early learning programs for children and families in the region.

Each year MARC and Partners in Quality work together with a wide array of local, state and national advocacy partners to support policy and legislative initiatives aimed at improving the early learning system at the state and federal levels.
