Transportation Resiliency KC

Logo with words Transportation Resiliency KC and subtitled: A roadmap for future-ready mobility

Transportation Resiliency KC is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the durability and adaptability of our transportation networks. By focusing on proactive planning, innovative solutions, and community engagement, we strive to ensure that our roads, bridges, public transit, and other critical infrastructure can endure and bounce back from disruptions such as extreme weather events, economic changes, and other unforeseen circumstances.

MARC’s goal is to support the region’s ability to limit disruptions to the transportation system as well as reduce disproportionate impacts on vulnerable populations.

MARC is partnering with Cambridge Systematics, Hoxie Collective and Burns & McDonnell for this project.

How to Participate – Complete a Survey and Share it with Others!

We invite you to take a few moments to complete our Transportation Resiliency Survey. Alongside the survey is an interactive mapping activity that will allow you to provide comments on specific locations and events. This survey is designed to gather insights into how our transportation system can better prepare for, respond to, and recover from unexpected disruptions.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Your responses can be anonymous and will be used to inform regional planning efforts and potential transportation improvements in your community.

Your input will help us better understand how climate hazards and extreme weather events impact transportation in our community. Please complete the survey and share!

We will use your responses to develop a regional transportation resiliency plan. The survey and mapping activity will be open through the end of January.
