This training will cover how children learn language and consistent changes you can expect to see in children’s language skills throughout the first five years of life. Strategies will be given for how to support children’s language development to set them on a trajectory for success.

Infants and toddlers are rapidly learning everything and need secure and supportive relationships with calm adults who understand and care about them. Come join us as we share strategies to help infants and toddlers learn the skills they need to be successful.

The Advanced Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM) course provides responders with the experience and confidence to manage an Active Shooter Event, no matter their rank or assignment. This is a 3-day comprehensive course using the ASIM Checklist integrated response process with eleven hands-on scenario exercises (using the multi-responder NIMSProTM 3D Simulation System). The course is appropriate for law enforcement, fire, EMS, and dispatch.

What is the role of reuse stores in keeping materials out of landfills? There are more thrift stores in the region and other organizations that also receive, sell, distribute, and repurpose household items. Come and learn how the flow of materials in and out of reuse organizations and businesses diverts materials from the waste stream. Can this activity be enhanced, strengthened, and integrated into the Regional Solid Waste plan?
