A light breakfast will be served during networking at 8 a.m. The program will take place from 8:30 - 10 a.m. There is no cost for this event, but your registration to attend is requested. The program will feature a Communities for All Ages award and a presentation from Urban Land Institute Kansas City over their Technical Assistance Panel process. 

The Mid-America Regional Council Emergency Rescue Committee, commonly known as MARCER, promotes regional coordination and cooperation in emergency pre-hospital care for metropolitan Kansas City.

Developing empathy is part of developing prosocial behaviors and social and emotional development. A child’s social and emotional development affects their ability to form and maintain healthy relationships. This training will focus on the importance of developing empathy and prosocial skills and what teachers can do to foster these in their preschool classroom.
