Training Description

Literacy skills which involve reading and writing are very important for all children to develop. Young children develop the pre-literacy skills they will need when they are older. This training will cover how children learn literacy skills, consistent changes you can expect to see in children’s literacy skills as they develop through the first five years of life and strategies to support literacy development with children from birth to five years of age in home-based programs.

One Missouri clock hour will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
