This training focuses on pretend play in early childhood. You will learn how pretend play changes across development and how it supports children’s learning. You will also gain ideas and learn strategies to easily support pretend play in your program at little to no cost.

One Missouri clock hour will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

This training we will discuss the importance of being able to address challenging behavior. We will discuss the importance of connection with children as well as adults keeping their own composure when addressing these behaviors. We will discuss techniques about how to work with the children to improve behaviors, the cause of why the behaviors happens, and working to partner with families to improve outcomes.

Habits formed in early childhood can last a lifetime, so it is important that young children learn healthy eating habits. This training will focus on strategies for teaching young children in home based programs about good nutrition and making healthy food choices.
