Training Description

Gross motor skill development is an important part of early childhood. Children need time and space throughout the day to engage in gross motor activities. What if it is too hot or too cold or raining outside? This course will focus on strategies for incorporating gross motor activities inside your home-based program.

Temperament is defined as an innate quality we are born with. While it may modify due to our life experiences, in general it doesn't make huge shifts. Why does this matter? As early childhood professionals the more we understand the better able we are to match our teaching to the individual needs of the children we serve.
