On Friday, April 15, at the First Suburbs Coalition meeting, the Mid-America Regional Council honored Peculiar, Missouri, for becoming more age friendly. Peculiar earned Silver Level status in the Communities for All Ages recognition program, which required conducting a self-assessment of age-friendly policies and actions.
