Fight. response paradigm and guides non-traditional first responders in the various ways these methods can be employed. Because active threat incidents can occur anywhere, participants are encouraged to apply principles from this course to plans and procedures in their workplaces. Materials 

This course utilizes an electronic participant guide. Participants will need to bring an electronic device with them to class. A link to the participant guide will be available to all registered participants in the training website. We recommend downloading approximately 3 days before the scheduled class date. 

FEMA SID

Every participant needs to have registered for a FEMA SID # before the course date. I have attached the link to the website you can direct them to for any questions they might have about the importance of the number as well as to register/retrieve a FEMA SID#. https://cdp.dhs.gov/FEMASID/

Registration process

Registration is a two-step process. Individuals will also need to register with the LSU portal to have access to the pre and posttest, course documents. Please refer to LSU student confirmation letter for details. Your registration is not complete unless you also complete the registration at LSU portal. 

Target audience

World Cup Citizens or community volunteers, Stadium employees and volunteers, Restaurant Managers/employees, Hotel Managers/employees, Outside/inside Stadium Vendors, Parking attendants Emergency Management personnel. The course is available to individuals in Greater Kansas City region: Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte in Kansas; and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray in Missouri. Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Fire, EMS, Governmental administrative personnel, Healthcare personnel.
