MARC is currently accepting applications from community organizations interested in voting membership on the Total Transportation Policy Committee (TTPC). Applicants can include people representing business, economic development, social equity, environmental, specific transportation modes, or other perspectives relevant to this work.

TTPC makes as many as four organizational positions available. Positions are appointed by the co-chairs of TTPC, have voting rights, and serve two-year terms. Organizations currently holding these positions are eligible to re-apply. The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the MARC offices with a virtual option.

If your organization is interested in applying for one of these positions, please fill out the application below by Thursday, July 7, 2023.

MARC serves as the metropolitan planning organization for transportation in Greater Kansas City. This work involves planning, community engagement, inter-jurisdictional coordination, and allocating federal funding to promote a safe, efficient, equitable and sustainable surface transportation system. TTPC guides this work and serves as MARC’s designated committee to provide policy-level input to the MARC Board of Directors on significant transportation issues, programs and projects.
