MARC is inviting you to participate in a survey to share experiences and input about improving the transportation system for Transportation Resiliency KC, a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the durability and adaptability of our transportation networks.

The survey, which includes an interactive mapping activity for comments on specific locations and events, is designed to gather insights on how the transportation system can better prepare for, respond to and recover from unexpected disruptions.

Public input will help us better understand how climate hazards and extreme weather events impact transportation in the community. Responses will be used to develop a regional transportation resiliency plan. The survey and mapping activity are open through the end of January.

Transportation Resiliency KC is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the durability and adaptability of our transportation networks. By focusing on proactive planning, innovative solutions and community engagement, we strive to ensure that our roads, bridges, public transit and other critical infrastructure can endure and bounce back from disruptions such as extreme weather events, economic changes and other unforeseen circumstances.

MARC’s goal is to support the region’s ability to limit disruptions to the transportation system as well as reduce disproportionate impacts on vulnerable populations. Learn more here
