GTI programs are focused on public sector training and development in the Mid-America Regional Council service area. Programs are developed based on your needs in our region, to share costs and offer economical training programs to your employees. Classes are offered in-person, online, and self-paced.

• Administrative Professionals Day
  Monday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  Wondering how to influence people (including yourself!) to do what you want? During this year’s Administrative Professionals Day event, we’ll learn about "The Four Tendencies", a framework
  developed by happiness and habits researcher (and Kansas City native!) Gretchen Rubin that focuses on the follow-through, and we'll practice implementing it at work and in life.

  April 29-30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  The grant writing class covers how to write grant proposals start to finish and how to locate and track relevant grant opportunities. Register here. 
   
• Regional Data Academy (online, self-paced)
  On-going
  The Regional Data Academy is intended to help individuals in local governments make sense of public sector data, effectively use the data and develop clear and appropriate presentations of civic data. • Kansas City/County Manager Conference (KCCM)
  April 25-26 - The Oread Hotel | Lawrence, KS
  The KU Public Management Center hosts this annual conference that brings together local leaders in Kansas. The primary objective is to curate content that is pertinent to the challenges faced by contemporary public service leaders.
