Greater Kansas City Regional Housing Partnership announces launch of free housing locator service

The Greater Kansas City Regional Housing Partnership, in coordination with the city of Kansas City, Missouri, is excited to announce the launch of KCHousingLocator.com. Available online and through a toll-free call center, the service offers landlords a no-cost way to advertise properties and helps renters find housing and resources to suit their needs. This is a powerful tool for promoting and collecting information vital to serving housing and supportive-service organizations in the region. This tool covers Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri.  

Get Involved!

We encourage your community or organization to help build out and promote this important tool in the following ways.

  • Watch a webinar recording to view the live tool. Webinars were conducted based on select target audiences. 
  • Post a link to KCHousingLocator.com on your website.
  • Share rental resources not already available through United Way 211.
  • Share the tool with housing providers and service agencies that assist in housing navigation in your community or connect them with us.
  • Get involved as an advisory group member to support tool rollout and long-term evaluation of the service.
