Double Up Food Bucks launches new website

The new website offers a more user-friendly experience, providing information to SNAP (food stamp) users seeking information about the program and where to find participating locations. 

Double Up Food Bucks is an incentive program available to SNAP users that matches every SNAP dollar spent on fresh produce (up to $25 per day) with a dollar in rewards that can be used for more fresh produce. Double Up Food Bucks is available at participating grocery stores and farmers markets in the Kansas City area and in participating locations in Kansas and Missouri. 

Basically, SNAP users can turn an apple a day into two apples a day!

The redesigned website features:

• Information about how the program works at farmers markets, farm stands and grocery stores.
• Downloadable program brochures.
• An interactive map to find locations offering the program.
