KC2026 World Cup Briefing for Local Officials

Local officials are invited to attend a special briefing on preparations for the FIFA World Cup in Kansas City in 2026. The invited audience includes appointed and elected local government leaders, and the agenda will focus on issues that are most relevant to cities and counties.

An agenda will be distributed to registered attendees closer to the event, and topics will include:

• Transportation for key event venues
• Regional coordination for safety and security
• Information pertinent to local tourism events

Time will be reserved for Q&A and identification of other issues that might benefit from enhanced regional coordination.
