The safety of the region’s transportation system involves complex factors that influence quality and function. History shows that safety improvements benefit Kansas City region; however, a coordinated, collaborative, comprehensive and continuing process should be developed to analyze the many factors involved in transportation safety. Bistate safety partners are coordinating this process in the Kansas City Regional Transportation Safety Blueprint development.
The Safety Blueprint was developed by the Destination Safe Coalition.
