Training Description

Keeping children safe is the top priority for early childhood teachers. This training will identify common causes of accidents and injuries with infants and toddlers and cover tips to prevent them with a focus on active supervision and available safety resources.

One Missouri clock hour will be given. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

Habits formed in early childhood can last a lifetime, so it is important to teach healthy eating habits. This training will focus on strategies for good nutrition and healthy food choices for infants and toddlers.

When an infant or toddler establishes a relationship with a sensitive and responsive caregiver, the infant learns whom to trust and turn to when needing support – when the caregiver and the families are connected – infants and toddler’s soar!
