New data tools provide insights about MARC cities and counties

MARC's new Community Views data tool provides valuable insights and information about communities throughout our region.

You can find:

• Demographics of residents
• Housing data
• Characteristics of the physical environment
• Workforce data

Use the red buttons across the top to switch between topics. Use the red buttons at the bottom to find city-level or county-level data.

You can download a PDF version of the data profile by clicking on the Download Community Profile button in the upper right corner under the geography selector.

A new set of workforce tools provides insights to help build stronger, more resilient communities.

The regional occupation report shows total employment, employment growth, occupation by specialization, projected job shortages in the next decade and more. You can narrow this data by specific occupation groups.

The demographic data by county report shows the total population, population by age, population by race and ethnicity, educational attainment and more for individual MARC counties. You can also compare two areas and look at historic data.

The labor force data by county report includes employment, unemployment and total labor force by individual MARC county.
