Celebrating 25 Years, Highlighting 25 Trails
MARC encourages local governments and community organizations across the region to join in a year-long 25th anniversary celebration of MetroGreen in 2016. With help from our partners, a commemorative, double-sided poster was produced that features 25 of the region's trails and greenways. See the poster»
2016 Regional Trails and Bikeways Map released with companion web app
MARC worked with local governments to produce a regional trails and bikeways map using aerial photography, global positioning and geographic information systems (GIS) data to provide the most up-to-date information available. The new map shows 1,764 miles of trails and bikeways, up 39 percent from the 1,273 miles shown on the 2013 version. Walking and biking can benefit your health, your wallet and the environment.
