MRCKC: Joplin tornado presentation
Lt. Darren Gallup of the Joplin Police Department spoke at the MRCKC meeting on Jan. 21 to share his story of being one of the very first responders on the scene after the Joplin F5 tornado ripped through his hometown in May 2011. After showing a video of the tornado and pictures of the aftermath, Gallup described his harrowing response to the carnage of the deadliest tornado the country has seen in 50 years.
