Intermodal Freight Strategies Study 1995

The economic well-being of the Kansas City region depends in great part on the reliable and efficient movmement of freight and goods between producers and markets. To facilitate this movement and ensure Kansas City remains a vital transportation hub, MARC, along with local, regional and state governments and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce completed a major study of the area's freight shipment resources in 1995. This included rail, air, water and roadway modes.
