KCRPC and AEPA Cooperative Buying Program
Local success stories:
Raytown School District used Atlas Track Inc., for their track installation under the CSD contract.
Bayless School District, near St. Louis used Tremco for roof installation.
KCRPC also partners with Greenbush (Southeast Kansas Education Service Center) and the Cooperating School Districts of Greater St. Louis, Inc. (CSD) — two state agencies (Kansas and Missouri) representing the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA).
AEPA is a nationwide group of non-profit educational organizations working together to save school districts time and money.
In July 2011, AEPA, CSD and Greenbush contracts were extended to MARC/KCRPC membership. This partnership expands the network of contract offerings to include items such as athletic turf, tracks and courts, classroom supplies, roofing services, playground equipment, audio/visual equipment and services, flooring (hardwood and carpet) and many others.

Vendor Opportunities
Visit the links above for governing documents for AEPA, Greenbush and CSD. The AEPA Board — consisting of representatives from Greenbush, CSD and 21 other states — meets each spring to select product categories for which it will seek bid responses from national vendors.
Once product specifications, terms and conditions are developed, members advertise and post bid announcements in their respective states.
