How are these training programs different from other GTI seminars?
These training programs are designed to be taken on-site and can be customized for your organization. We come to you and conduct a seminar that addresses the wants and needs of your team in a manner that minimizes employee down time. Like all GTI courses, these seminars (listed at right) feature professionally designed workshop materials and top-notch trainers with local government experience.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants?
There is a minimum of six and a maximum of 14 participants, excluding the presentation class. This keeps the group at a reasonable size so that participants can get the most from the class.
On-site delivery is most cost-effective if you have 10 or more participants.

GTI is equipped to assist local governments in determining their training needs and making them more aware of the factors to consider and include when developing a training program. This process may consist of an employee assessment utilizing focus groups, interviews and questionnaires and an environmental assessment which inventories existing conditions. The results of such an assessment can help your organization prioritize its needs and build a training budget to adequately fund the programs over time.
