Let us help you find your way while riding the trails
The Regional Trails & Bikeways Map
, released in spring 2013, is available online and in print (on waterproof paper made of crushed rock that is virtually indestructible). The newest version of this popular map includes a Bike Map App
which uses GIS capabilities to map all of the region's bike trail data. Bookmark the app on your phone and hit the trails! Get the app

GIS Spring Cleaning project
A few of the GIS datasets MARC maintains are created with local data. Currently, MARC is inviting cities and counties in the nine-county metropolitan region to review some of the MARC datasets, such as bikeways, trails and parks data. Our plan is to maintain current, accessible data and to simplify the process for routine annual updates.
We currently need your help in four areas: GIS contact information, data review, county parcels and land use. Please continue to submit changes in the street centerline to 9-1-1 staff as you already do. Access the data, maps, and more information»

MARC staff maintain many GIS datasets describing boundaries, resources, and features in the Kansas City Region. The MARC GIS program provides data for public access in order to increase regional awareness on shared issues, to provide a public service, and to assist local governments and planning agencies with their own maps, analyses and decision-making processes.
Many datasets cover the 9-county region, which includes Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas, and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray Counties in Missouri.
